People! Marissa Mayer, a woman who was an integral part of google, a company who’s products exist due to acquisitions, just recently became yahoo CEO last year. I doubt yahoo would close tumblr. In fact, they would probably do something like instagram and keep it the same, just owned by Yahoo. I mean, the reason they are looking at tumblr is because of its popularity and user base. Closing it would be a hell of a lot counter productive.
